Katy Perry leads with nine 2011 MTV Video Music Awards Nominations

Katy Perry's star is shining bright as the pop princess leads the way with nine nominations in this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
The special announcement was made as MTV VJ Sway visited Katy at the Seattle stop in her California Dreams tour. The pop singer was chosen as a nominee in nine categories, including Best Video of the Year and Best Female. Other nominees include Adele, Lady Gaga ,Beyonce , Nicki Minaj and more.
