Bruno Mars sues music publisher

Bruno Mars is suing his music publisher, claiming that the company is holding him to a contract that he says has been terminated.

According to court documents obtained by ET, Bruno (real name Peter Hernandez) alleges that by February he fulfilled an obligation to deliver a minimum amount of songs to Bug Music, Inc. After satisfying their agreement, the court documents report that Bug Music had an option to extend the contract within a determined period of time but neglected to do so.
