Romney's European adventure lands with a thud in London
Mitt Romney landed in London ahead of the 2012 Summer Olympics and promptly muffed his first few events -- a posh fundraiser with questionable financiers, calling the organizers unprepared, and then the real belly flop: claiming, in an interview with Brian Williams, that Aurora Batman shooter James Holmes had gotten his weapons illegally. Not true but Romney later clarified what he meant.
