In the movie Soul Surfer, Carrie Underwood plays the part of Sarah Hill --a youth counselor to Bethany Hamilton, the teen surfer whose arm was bitten off by a shark, but overcomes her injury to surf again. Carrie says she took the role with the hope that fans who see it because of her, come away with a message of courage and hope.
